How did you do this? I found your use of units coming together to act as one organism very neat. Had to watch it muted though as the music hurt my ears.

basically there is one unit with lots of attach points and in its script it runs a thread like:

while (true) do
  nearunits=Spring.GetUnitsInSphere  (x,y,z, 150)
  for _, nearunitid in ipairs (nearunits) do
    script.TransportPickup (nearunitid)
so it picks up everything near by and attachs it to its tentacles! of course it also picks up other tentacles and that's when the fight started.

I'm sold.
Is this just a sand bow or can this be turned into some kind of multiplayer game play? If so... This is more promising than anything that I've seen come out of spring in a long time. Fucking amazing knorke. :-)

just sandbox for now. of course there is a hundreds gameplay ideas with this but have to consider what is realisticly possible. some ideas i got from making it might be used some way or another.

saw that video posted in off topic earlier, pretty lol.
But real idea was just messing about, some inspiration was maybe what a Katamari Damacy ball would be like in an RTS.

- Transporters can carry hovers and ships now.

also
If you assign transportsize=6 to a transportship than the transportship will be able to carry another transport ship

if it really works, i do not know. transporting ships would be pretty cool...

so i tried it and then loaded a helicopter.
Funnily the whole thing started going in circles very fast, then stopped and slammed itself into the ground until it died.
