I posted a link in a different thread but i think it deserves a thread in its own right.

Its a fun game about minning, sort of.
You are essentially indiana jones.
You enter randomly generated mines and try to survive and pick up as much loot.
The game is full of surprises and all sorts of tricks to learn and in general many of the game's features are not explained and you sort of have to figure them out and how to pass them on your own.
Very fun game.

The screenshot reminds me a lot of the kinds of computer games I played when I was really little. Might check it out after work.

Game is fun, but I was massively disappointed that I can't mine the shiny stuff inside terrain blocks. Then I died to arrow coming out of a wall. :c

I wont say more but there is a way to get a pickaxe ^^ You can also blow them up of course....
Sometimes you can get a shitload of bombs out of crates...

After you pass some of the levels you get another player who has a pickaxe instead of a whip.

i didn't realize it had deep mechanics until the shopkeeper called me a terrorist and shot me in the face

I went into a gun shop took up the shotgun and killed the owner and was real happy by how easy it was....
When I passed into the next level and went into the shop i was immediately shot dead...
I than noticed a wanted picture of my char....

the jetpack is the kiss of death. as soon as i get it, i end up abusing it, and die in ways i would never have died before (flying up blindly and getting hit by arrows, accidentally locking onto the wall with climbing gloves and losing my ability to jet)

and then theres the "nethack" style rush death, where you've just been fairly far into the game the life before and are excited, so you try and rush a bit on the first few rooms and end up dying to snakes or by falling too far

or the dice parlour... spend so bloody long in there until the ghost comes, then freak out and run out of the store still holding a die. you know the rest

hell no, i didnt even finish the tutorial... i mean, seriously, collect coins? thats all?

the coins are currency only, they don't really effect the game like that. you use them to buy weapons and equipment (and kisses from the bordello)

why not try to take 20 minutes to play the actual game? not really trying to argue my point here too much, but the tutorial doesn't indicate anything at all about what the gameplay is like

its like a bastard child of SotN and mario 3... i guess if you didn't like those, dont bother XD

You're missing the point by so far it's scary.

You really should limit yourself to discussing stuff you have no idea about with people who know no more. Well, unless you enjoy provoking rage & hatred, off course.
