Well, the whole strength of wiki is that anyone can edit them without needing to pass through an approval system. So go for it!

yeah please do it! :-)
also see this thread, and especially the link in there:
http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=23799
add yourself as maintainer please. it does not put you in any obligation, don't worry. ;-)
just... in case a slackware spring gamer sees a problem with the packages, he may tell you, and if you care, you can do something about it.

OK, I already put myself in http://springrts.com/wiki/Linux:Packaging as maintainer, I have no problem with that, I have to format this PC this weekend, so I think in a couple of days I'll have the spring binaries ready.

The binaries for Slackware 64bits are ready, and I'd remove the warning for old content for Slackware. Tomorroy I'll send the binaries for 32 bits. All for Spring 0.82.6.1 release.

So please, someone test it.

Spring are now updated for Slackware 13.1, 32 bits, but I have a lot of problems compiling springlobby, that must wait a bit until see what can I do with wx* packages versions, probably ungrade them from distribution default :s.

Anyway, I send the upgraded script for building to SlackBuild.

You guys should have a spring_last_version.tar.gz or any other name version of the last release version of spring, to void changing the scripts each time you update the game, and let people to use a script to download, install and play the game.
