... yeah :regret:

the solution to this problem is, to freeze for the public from time to time only, and still go on improving it in the meantime. we could call the frozen states releases.
this concept will revolutionize the software industry, i can tell you!

The hurry up was for content dev, not engine dev.

The Spring engine has so many untapped possibilities it makes me sad.

Well, according to their blog, CA is doing pretty well in the polls.. I wonder when their team will pop up here, they sort of need to at least contact the projects they want to re-distribute, for decency's sake...

I was suprised to see the other Spring-engine games on there too, pretty neat. I wonder if they'd consider offering it as middleware on the platform, seeing as that seems to be another thing they are touting..

My point is recognition is not neccessarily a measure of quality so much as PR effort.

The whole thing im talking about here is lack of 'recognition' for an otherwise good product. But having recognition doesnt mean you have a great game.

Technically Serjn they are under no obligation to contact us under the GPL...

...but technically we have OTA content and are thus still illegal.

Though 1faction could be free tomorrow if we ripped out sea and some sounds, prettymuch.

CA tied with Warzone2100 for 'Best Game of the Genre'!?

Quick, rally the CA players for voting! Both of them!
