A bunch of us have been playing sins of a solar empire for the last few days,we're about 5-8 players, shift, babbles, pintle, myself, abokasee, khaine, jester and some more are joining.
If you wanna play with us you need to get Sins of Solar Empire Trinity/diplomacy version 1.01

Sins of a solar empire is a real time strategy game.
You capture planets solar systems research many technologies and build gigantic fleets in an attempt to destroy the enemy.
Its like galactic civilizations/master of orion in real time using a 3d Engine.

I played this game a year or so ago... it was pretty good, and since then I KNOW ALOT has changed and has actually gotten better.

I would have to acquire Trinity, but I might be interested. Looks like the XTA players, which I tend to have fun with.

If you insist on aquiring it before you actually see if you like how it plays than i think you can get trinity for around 30$.
If you do acquire it make sure you get only the 1.01 patch and not the latest.

Well, I played the original but no longer have a copy, so I do know what I'm getting into. I assume Trinity is simply better balanced and has some new features.

Its kind of amazing that this game feels like the many 4x turn based strategy, master of orion or the later galactic civs series but yet its in real time.
Civ 5 is gonna be released soon and after playing sins and being a witness to how you can flawlessly turn a turn based RTS into a real time one i cant help but feel a bit demotivated to play yet another turn based civ game when i know how much cooler it can be if they made it real time.
