Pay with Google checkout. It's only about a thousand times more secure than buying things in brick and mortar stores.

no matter how secure you make a system, its still able to be broken, and can scam alot of people.

I'd rather pay for things with real money, and torrent things first D:

But these are games you cannot find in physical stores! (Except Penumbra, I think I've seen it.)

Besides you can also get scammed in real stores.

Lastly, if you're scared of paying on the internet, then ok, don't buy, but then, don't play either.

4/5 titles go open source now.

Damn I cant wait for penumbra sources, since its both modernish renderer + normal physics, and that would benefit OSS greatly.

I am really enjoying Penumbra (reminds me of Cryostasis but less retarded) and Aquaria is pretty damn cool too.

...and figuratively defecate over the game developers because you're too paranoid to use Google Checkout?

In other news, Humble indie bundle is now sauce.

from this sale alone, each independent developer who participated made
$168,730.20.

Not half bad, not half bad at all.

Considering that at least one of those games (Lugaru) was a solo effort, I'd say that's quite a haul.

You're not going to pay the bills by starting development of an indie game.

I actually really wished they would let you pay different developers different amounts (like they let you customize the developer/eff/child's play split), because I really wanted to support the other developers but NOT support Lugaru because it's terrible terrible bad. Of course, the Lugaru devs were the ones who put the bundle together so no chance of that.
