need free webspace that does not suck

It does not seem so. I just want to host a small site.
50MB or even less would be enough.
In a time where everybody can spam the tubes with their shit its still impossible to find a host that:
*offers 20+ MB
*can do ftp
*size limit for unique files > 3 MB
*allows all file types for download
*no fucking giant ass-banners or at least no pop ups. small banners or google adwords bla is tolerable
*does not delete the account if you do not post once a week in some stupid forum
*has webinterface bla where logging in and every click does not take half a minute. why can free email things do that and not webhosters?

Thats not really asking for that much, is it?

Webhostingtalk is an extremely good site for this kind of thing, and they have a sister site dedicated to free hosting. http://www.freewebhostingtalk.com/

And a quick search got a recommendation for http://www.000webhost.com/

I can host you (or AF can, either way), but I need more info on what the site is about. If you want to buy the domain name that's fine, jsut point it at ns1.dreamhost.com ns2.dreamhost.com and ns3.dreamhost.com (you'd need to do this for hosting on AF's stuff too), or I can set you up with a subdomain of one of my sites.

Btw does http://knorke.net23.net/ have any adverts on your pc? It does not for me and some friends in the same house. But another guy says he has a "you've won this car" banner at top.
Is it possible they check the ip so for the account owner it appears advert free and everyone else gets adverts?

Have you SEEN some of the Sourceforge project pages? These are sites designed by programmers, you don't have to worry about your site looking like shit.
