Gundam singleplayer problems

im having problems playing singleplayer gundam rts...im using spring .81 not TA and when i start a game i get "you won" instantly...ive tried lots of things. diff bots, diff alliances, every single bot on the list from aai to e3 to kaik...all of those. nothing seems to work... any help?

now it just crashes every time i start singleplayer

While the co-devs of Gundam RTS single player (smoth and zwszg) frequent this forum, you might get better response at smoth's site.

How did you install Spring? How do you install Gundam? Did you use my installer? How do you run it? Through TASClient? Through SpringLobby? Through my Gundam Head shaped icon? At what stage does it crash? What do you see right before it crash?

Seeing how you talked about "diff bots, diff alliances, every single bot on the list" I get you're using a multiplayer lobby in single player mode. Try with the Start Menu shortcut to Gundam Single Player installed by my installer instead.

If it still crash, can you post your infolog.txt? (a file created each time your run Spring, in Spring folder, which might contain some info about the crash.)

I use springlobby and i installed it from moddb.com

please post infologs as attached files or through pastebin(.com)

E323AI currently only works for BA and XTA out of the box, other mods need additional config files, and Gundam would probably need source changes even.
i do not know about KAIK, AAI and RAI, but KAIK is mainly for TA like mods, AAI needs config files for each mod+version, and may also not be suited for the mod, RAI might.. but smoth will know better.

From the look of that infolog, the crash is caused by E323AI.

Do not use E323AI. Do not use any other AI than Gundam-certified AI.

You can use only those two AI:
- Zeon: landmap
- Federation: landmap

And nothing else!

works with only those 2 AI...thank you...i tried them all but when i did i used all AI at once... :/...but now it works YAY! tyvm!

in vista logic, it probably should be vice-versa. in spring logic, it is better like this.
My Docs/My Games is used by all spring installations. they all would use it as writable dir, there would be a lot of cache rewrites and mixups.. and probably desyncs because of that even. also log files would be overwritten by the different versions.

i keep getting the text all screwed up they appear all BLOCKed White and cant see what they mean; id apriciate any help on this since im a fan of GUNDAM and ive only found this to be the only RTS for gundam so i want experience it.

This is your problem. You need a video card. What you have is a piece of hardware capable of rendering the windows desktop. Now you just need a graphics card capable of properly rendering 3d games.

Are you on a laptop?

Sadly it looks as though the key issue is video card drivers. This isn't something I can help. I really hate to see a player not able to play gundam due to their hardware but there is little I can do :(.

Have you tried updating the drivers for your onboard video card?

yeah i have but well if it needs video card then that will be my issue ive tried to guess and play it like it is; but somehow only the important things and the menu letters keep being all blocky some of the other things look ok but well i try to get grafics card if i can.

Thx for help and keep up the good work its a cool mod try to advirtise it more since ppl rarely know about Spring and Gundam RTS.
