I care. So do a lot of mums who'll stop their kids browsing these forums due to harsh language. People do find it offensive, and while you argue that cussing is good for the soul there are those that disagree. I'd argue that people who regard cussing as 'bad' constitute the majority and therefore should be given precedence under the basic principles of democracy. I feel you would do well to consider these points before adding foul language to these forums.
I don't want to sound like someone's maiden Aunt (I'm not!) and CERTAINLY don't want to turn this thread into a flamewar, so if you wish to dispute the point further please do so by PM. Though I can't resist adding that I think your opinions here are a trifle anarchistic (although I concede that may be an unfair comment).
I repeat: a lot of people care. Most just don't speak up. Partially due to fears they'll be flamed. I'm, uh, not quite that easy to put off.
Please don't take this personally, I just feel all this needs saying.
Gotta go and test the latest beta of NTAI now. Hope you have fun.
EDIT: No, I'm not someone's Mum either. I'm a nineteen-year-old male student studying the BTEC National in Computing, in Britain. I don't want any gender confusion, now do I

Min3mat, stop being silly. You're just making yourself look tragically immature. Sorry, but that's the truth of it.
Again, no flaming intentionally given or invited. But seriously Min3mat, you're behaving like some moron now and it's getting a little depressing my post has led to this.
I'd probably do better saying nothing at all. But hey, I always was impulsive.

Now this is getting really silly.
1. I was using the term 'bad' as a general indicator of negativity. I would argue that murder is 'evil', another kettle of fish entirely. But let's not get too bogged down in nitpicking.
2. As I understand the term, flaming is deliberately setting about to incite anger or a destructive argument with another. This is not my intention, as I have clearly stated; hence I am not flaming.
3. I was probably over the top calling you a moron; in that case I apologise. But your immaturity, to all appearances, remains - 'owned' is an unqualified and vacuous statement.
4. I disagree. But then I would. Freedom of speech has been a tradition for centuries where I live; I am free to speak as I please, though I naturally temper this with judgement.
Your posts appear to be losing cohesion. If this is due to your becoming angered (never my intention) then I suggest you take a rest and cool down a bit, maybe get back to this discussion when you are in a clearer frame of mind. If not then you have totally lost me - perhaps you were trying to be ironic?
EDIT: Oh no I don't SwiftSpear!

You get an edit so I get one too.
#4 doesn't apply to internet forums. Sometimes you learn the hard way, sometimes you understand right away. Internet forums are private property, they are hosted on servers belonging to someone, and just like a persons house, they are free to restrict you access if they so choose. Practically this means that a forum owner has every right to ban you because they don't like something you say, or the way you said it. Technically you don't have the right to post on any forum, it is a priviledge that is assumed (some places more then others). I'm not saying the SY's or zaphod will ban you for expressing your opinion, quite the contrary, but the fact remains. There is no applicable freedom of speach law over forums, as they are private property.
