Talking with a lot of players, it appears the fact that ennemy Dragon Teeth (DT) not considered as wrecks by cons requires to spend a lot of time to manually reclaim them.
Some poeple will answer some widgets exist to reclaim a designated type of feature. True. But it really does not solve the problem:
On a battle where you have both wrecks AND DTs (which most often is the case), you have to mannually switch between reclaiming wrecks and Dt , if not, cons usually gets stuck.
Anyway, it requires the player to focus on such annoying thing. It is so annoying that I usually use tactical nuke to destroy them casue queuing the order for reclaiming on DT at the time most always fail. (pathing ?)
That is the reason why I ask that the old behavious of enney DT: ennemy DT are considered as wreck.
I am aware it will cause, in lot of cases, a little decrease in metal_reclaimed_for_a_designated_area per sec but I think it really worth it.
PS: I play mostly BA.

Re: Request: Old DT reclaiming behaviour
I also find this to be an extremely annoying bug, since you cant give an area reclaim order on enemy DT for two reasons: you dont have LOS on the DT, so if there are no wrecks there, the con wont even go there, and also, cons just flat out refuse to area reclaim even enemy DT. This is VERY bad behavior. And I totally agree with what albator does, just tacnuke the dt, because otherwise its such a pain to eliminate it.

Maybe you should move this thread to the BA forum.
Re: Request: Old DT reclaiming behaviour
Is it different in other games then?Forboding Angel wrote:Maybe you should move this thread to the BA forum.
Re: Request: Old DT reclaiming behaviour
1) Make DT stay ghosted after they leave LOS
2) Make an area reclaim order work with newly discovered DT

up is dutch for bump.
Re: Request: Old DT reclaiming behaviour
I said Up cause I want to know if it is a problem releted to BA or an engine problem. And if it a problem related to BA I want to know if BA developpeur want to do something about it or if they dont want to.
Edit : according TFC, it is an engine issue...
