Simple
Just go and download Tortoise SVN: http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads
Tortoise will ask you to restart your computer. Once you have done that simply browse in windows explorer to your "my documents/my games/spring/Mods" folder and create a new folder called "evolutiondev.sdd".
Right click on the "evolutiondev.sdd" folder, Tortoise SVN > Checkout
The URL to plug in is: http://svn.evolutionrts.info/evolutiondev.sdd/
Once you've done that, you're all set. To update your local copy of the files, just right click on the evolution.sdd folder, Svn Update.
To view revision history and the repository, just go to: http://redmine.evolutionrts.info

I hate SVN, I hate linux, and I hate smart people. Will you be posting up a sd7 in the near future?

Well linux and smart people, meh can't blame you too much , but SVN is an extremely useful tool (and considering your changelogs for AA, you really ought to be using it).
SVN is just a versioning and repository tool. Basically it's like this. When you check out SVN, you make changes, then in windows explorer you commit those changes, add a description and those changes are committed to the repository.
It's ridiculously easy to keep track of things.
Anyway, I would recommend following the instructions in my first post (It's really easy, I promise). There will be an SDZ available for the Main alpha test, but with svn you have access to the latest and greatest. Plus, you can play that latest and greatest with others who have svn (which at this point, is almost everyone -- that is to say, almost everyone who follows the project).

Ahh... I'll wait for the alpha then. SVN and... other such... techno... stuff.... it's like my mom and a VCR. Better to just leave it alone.
Re: How duz I maek svn install?
