Spring Downloader gets dupe maps all the time.

Just drag the replay onto spring.exe

none of them works, tasclinet is dead now in spring 64 bit, ive tried all the tricks, and spring lobby, half of the updates will make it not even load when i double click it. springlobby seems organic, it makes mistakes whenever it wants too, instead of consistently. Also when it does work PICKING MAPS SUCK, when you have 900 maps.

I totally agree with the OP, springlobby is awesome.

Actually, a minute before the screenshot it was at 1.2GB of RAM usage, not much later it killed SpringEngine since my machine was out of memory.
When my Lan-buddy just had left the room, the ram usage dropped to 530MB. And yes, that 25% CPU usage is actually 100% CPU usage on one core.

I didn't notice this on hosted games pre 0.79.1, is it an A.I. issue ? (i was using KAIK .13)

Spec's. WinXP SP3 32bit, Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz, 2GB of Ram. Up to date Spring.
Also, the constant "refreshing" of springlobby is an PITA and looks slow and awfull.

I've had TASC suck 2.8 GB of RAM. That is nothing, you're a wuss.

The refreshing is terrible though.

Did you make a ticket with a more precise description?
Also when it does work PICKING MAPS SUCK, when you have 900 maps.
Yeah, if they are just in a simple list, you have to scroll a while. But the list seems complete. :-)

Going in the lobby doesn't work, it normally ends up with one of the following results:
  • Shutup or we'll mute you
  • Use linux
  • File a ticket
None of which really help.

Tickets appear to be building up and not being fixed anywhere near as fast as they need to be. It appears no windows testing is done by the developers, and I get that x64 issue too, I have Vista business x64 on my machine.

Ok, then do not report your bugs, just open a thread saying Springlobby sucks. Things will be better soon.

Lack of developers and time. What do you expect? Bugs don't fix themselves.

I personally prefer the "fix it yourself" response. Or even better, "It's a non-issue".

If you do so, please say how you fixed it, so others can benefit too - a.k.a. "provide a patch".

It seems the current version doesn't save the chatlog anymore (just does save the times anyone said something) and I also can't run replays (don't know if it just is unable to initialize them the right way or if there's something wrong about the team infos because something seems to be wrong about the allies)...
