Flames on the texture, or racing stripes. Something appreciably street bling.

Contrast on what? Could you be more specific?

More specifically, it needs preshading on the upper surfaces, and use higher contrast on the tires / wheels.

There was preshading, but not strong enough then I guess, I made it stronger. And I increased the contrast.

(Yes, fullbright)

Ooh, and I made a little mistake in the uvmap, so now there's a seam (near the front window), but I'll fix it by putting a logo on it.

Rotate the front wheels can be doen easy. I like the texture and the model. The blue could be teamcolor.

looks neat, hoi! i like how you've used (i would imagine) a real tyre texture and included it in your model.

as far as logos go... what about that red one in the top left of the page? that's for something important, right ^^

Some of it's still giving the wrong cues, lightwise. Don't get me wrong, I can see what you're doing, but remember, this preshading stuff is basically about faking things to increase the 3D feel of the object in-game.

The sides of the cockpit, for example, need to be darker than the top. And the area where the body curves towards the belly should be a lot darker, imo. And I'd probably lighten the very top of the entire body a bit more. It'll feel a bit cartoony in your editing environment, when it's starting to get to the point it needs to be.
