bow thrusters (iirc thats what they are actually called) are relatively low tech, and have been in use for years (i think they were developed post-war though)

Voith-Schneider propellers were invented after WWI. Bend history a little to use them :P

Actually some German R-Boats used Voith-Schneider propulsion during WW2 (and we have an R-Boat for the Germans, what a coincidence...). But yes, it had no place on a destroyer-sized ship back then :)

But UBER spin a battleship in place thrusters that could lift the bow up onto the land? That is high tech.

I am just being an optimist.

Seems like a good improvement to me, the added details on it look nice.

I love the Battleship on the previous page too that thing is sweet, but I feel sorry for whoever has to Unwrap it

That's not a battleship. It's just a destroyer, a battleship is much larger.
Anyway, more of it:

fucking sweet.

The have to make alarm sirens when they get shot. Like the aircraft carrier in 'sum of all fears'. And i don't care how unrealistic it is

New suppression indicator icons. Yellow/red are suppressed/pinned respectively.

JPG rather ruined the red ones, they look better ingame.

Hmm I'd use softer pastel colors, unless they blend too much in with the map.

Are these final?

The smiley faces are kinda immersion ruining, as they make the game difficult to take seriously.

I'd recommend something simple and abstracted, like a yellow asterisk for suppressed, and a red exclamation point for pinned...

Instead of these rather silly smiley icons (no offense :P) I could think of a white ghost icon, which gets it's alpha value adjusted according to how scared soldiers are.

Nothing is ever final, but these work fine and look fine at playing distance. :P

flozi have you considered and exclamation point when they are yellow and a doubled up chevron red down arrow for suppressed?

Working on something right now ;)

But the beta is munching up all my time with playing and balance testing :/

Floz: I'd imagine anything coloured like that would look fine at a distance, so it probably doesn't matter that much what the symbol actually is, so I think you may as well go with something a little less tacky :P
