Definitely. But use a guide so you don't miss out on the sex scenes or the chance to kill an old woman in cold blood. That stuff was easy to miss.

Oh yeah if NWN2 crashed a lot for you then Witcher will too.

Really... it still BSOD'd the fuck out of me. Same for Witcher, though it only crashed on certain occasions (like during saving the game or certain world transitions) and barely any BSODs, apparently the crash handling was better there. Still the game was fun and is worth your... "money".

It's fantastic with the Un-Cut mod. Adds in Polish vocals and a re-translated script conveyed by subtitles. Adds back in the nudity too.

The game makes more sense now. Though, it's a testament to how GOOD the game's writing was that it was that great even with 20% of the dialog cut right out.

Also this new, totally free mini-expansion pack, is coming out with 10 hours of additional content, a level editor, a dozen and 1 fixes...

Worth acquiring? Yes, and only acquiring.

The "game" is only worth it for the story, meanwhile, you'll be tortured by the horrible save system that wants to save every 5 minutes and fail overall performance for a game like this.

@Zoombie :

The nudity stuff was only cut from the US version - the european / english version still contains teh n00dz.

Witcher isn't that good to play twice although I did. Hate to miss out on stuff/having to replay a game. Besides there is no way to go back in Witcher.

Wait for the better edition of it they're developing. Oh, and it will still be a pretty mediocre game, but probably worth "acquiring" if you like RPGs.

If by mediocre, you mean totally fantastic.

Also, Foxomaniac, I've only had a few crashes to desktop and in tose cases, I was eminently grateful for the save every time you enter or leave a building system.

But, as they say, 'fun is in the eye of the beholder' so one person's fantastic game is another person's piece of shit.

What about the crash during saving crashes? Kinda defeats it...

No I do not mean "totally fantastic". For RPGs, that's a phrase I only use to describe Infinity Engine games.
