The leveler wasn't really a perfect match to the older TA models anyways.

It looks kinda odd, since all the other units have panelling but its more random greebling and doesnt have white in the indentations, while this follows the geometry as you say- its quite different, more high-tech looking i think (Which isnt to say its a good thing- the leveler is brutally low-tech, i feel). It looks good, its just about feel and consistency.

Im sad you nixed the round base under the model though. You sort of get the feeling like there are gears under there an it goes 'clickity click clickity click' as the turret moves. :D

It follows the geometry a little better, thought I'd try something new.

But will this make the leveler stand apart from the other models I've already made and make it not blend well with those others?

I like it, would give the units and sides a bit more difference to them, great work!

Small update, I still have a long ways to go.

That first render was just the very basic texture to show you guys what it would look like in general terms.

I still plan to do the smaller paneling and details, just havn't gotten around to it yet.

The turret is very similar to the Goliath too, maybe I should have put large Tusks on it

Could you do this one without random paneling?

I like the texture so far. Not a fan of the green, but good job.

The Leveler is one of my fav. units in visual concept, behind the AK. I approve of this remodel, though I think it would be best without an ugly and copyright infringing core logo plastered on top of the smexiness that it is. I hope you bear this input in mind, and continue your wonderful remodels.

Now I get it that texturing is far more impressing than the modeling itself!!

Ok, all the textures are finished, and the .s3o is ready for import guys.

It just needs a script for the animated tracks & wheels and addition of a collapsible barrel when it shoots.

I left out the Core Logo and "random paneling"..

Hope you guys like this.
