Yeah, ditch the face. It would look better faceless (insects don't have recognizable faces after all)

The face gives it a halloween theme park game look, without the eyes it would look a heck of a lot better.

I'd remove the eyes and place the mouth where the eyes were.

Well, actually I liked the Idea of that evil robo-grin. But if you all think it is to "playful":

You could redesign bad ass evil looking core flying transports and planes and such.

Currently I'm redesigning all flying core units. And they all will look evil!

The face had character. Just doing a glowing light, signifying an entirely impersonal and technological horror ... is just so ... pass├â┬®

You could try getting rid of the goofy green-goblin-grin mouth, but keep the eyes.

Might be a good compromise.

I liked the face, but not for a Core unit. If it was for a non TA mod where everything was like that then it would look great.

Usually faces and such are painted on by the pilots, not built into the default design.

Maybe they are the default design for psychological reasons (psychological warfare), intented by the human mind conserved in circuits to spread fear among his fully human enemies.

You can justify the design one way or the other - but it looks more robotic and Core-like if there is no face at all.

yeah a face, esp a smiling face looks more comical. The newer front window thing looks colder.

awesomecool demon.

Why cant we have faces :(

The face was certainly the face of Core Satan himself, smiling at the shivering ARM dudes in his path, to be asploded shortly by the rocket launchers.

It seems I'm one of the few people that liked the robo-grin as well. Either way, it is still a really nice model/texture.
