ok, it the The Official Lego Spring Mod Dev Forum Page Item Goal Thing![/b]
Okay, now that the treahd has been started, DONT start moddeling, coding, or testing anything. Right now, we need 2 things.
Team membears who can help out. (moddeling and coding, speacily coding)
And ideas. we dont know what to have in the game yet, but i think we should start at simple lvl 1 units...
and not models of them first. Ideas. Descriptions... you get the picture.

As people seem worried about the poly count of my previous submission I have made some smaller models.
A turret and a Peewee class bot
A small fighter landing gear down
A small fighter landing gear up
K'NEX models have a lot of identical pieces, sticks can be modeled with 4 double sided rectangles or 6 single sided. Joining pieces wont be too bad if we can have trasparency in textures.
I have Lego as well...
Concept thoughts for all sides;
Projectile models should be small pieces.
Wreckage should not be grey but be should be a broken up model.
We should start simple, and add fancy features later.

So you want legos? in TA?
Why didn't someone come up with this idea sooner! But alas someone did. I give you the "Golden Brick Award" for using creativity!
But we still have lots to do! So enjoy this while you are wating! I hope you guys like it! **Don't drool too much!**

So hows your mod idea coming so far?
Yeah so was wondering what you guys have come up with so far as to how his will work/play?
Heres a little more "drool" inducing eyecandy. I was a little board.
Oh I think I will give you a glimps of the "Power of the Brick" I currently use.

is the gray pieces(bottom) at the left of the bridge, terraforming made by units?
can you build them ontop of each other? like a big brick wall.. nice..
maps needs to blend with the pieces in order to be able to build on top in guess... or not?...
the lego man as units looks good.. its a bit cheap.. hehe
e: i know alantai where is your imagination, eat a cookie

So are you going to be creating your own lego models or just existing ones (warning, extreme nostalgia content) against each other. You could have quite a good build tree: Castle->Pirates->Town->Space
Humm..
Umm.. Sorry guys but this isn't ingame. As for the grey in front of the green soldier, thats rock. I made thses using a program called MLCAD, the LDRAW parts libray, LP3AO(converter to POV-ray), and POV-ray for rendering. I believe I know where you could get the source code for the part files(not sure though.). The only thing is that the parts are made for a "MS-DOS" based program. Yeah I know, but hey it works! There are a couple programs that convert the models to other popular formats.
The only thing is that it is Memory and CPU demanding.
