I need a new chair
I need a new chair for working/playing at my PC. Considering the nature of this community I'm guessing the majority of you are avid sitters. There isn't a major department store in my area that sells a good selection of office chairs, so I'm planning to buy it on-line from somewhere.
For the past year I have been sitting on a cheap £25 office chair with its back broken off, thus leaving me with a oddly shaped, rotating stool. This time I'm looking for a bit more of an investment.
Can anyone advise me on a chair or brand under £100

i have an aeron chair. bought at the height of the dot-com bubble (not with my direct money of course). 300 USD. Fucking fantastic. adjustable armrest, reclining, height, and this amazing mesh support all-round. Its a dream.
Now they go for around ~100 or so if you find them at the right place. get one. now.

I play my guitar while sitting at my desk (saves printing out tablature/something to do while loading) and the arms on the chair are a royal pain in the arse. If in your searching you find a decent office chair without arm rests could you link me to it pls.
Preferably something cheaper than than jackalope's jokes

On most office chairs I believe the arms are removable.pintle wrote:I play my guitar while sitting at my desk (saves printing out tablature/something to do while loading) and the arms on the chair are a royal pain in the arse. A network for people to give away/take away free stuff, from fridges/microwaves to sofas/office chairs.
I got a lot of stuff for my uni house from here, then forgot all about it until now
