The save/load default hosting settings includes disabled units iirc.

When you click "add units" its right there, "Save" "Open"

Speaking of disabled units, why the hell is there a nometal speedmetal map when you can just disable metal extractors / wind generators and save everyone the trouble of downloading another map.

more to the point why the hell would you play speedmetal, with no metal? why not just play on a large untextured flat grey square?

Not only bad players, but specifically lazy people and those who practice with chokepoints. You don't have to be bad to be lazy!
