Draw-me-do
I like to draw ocassionally
As you might notice, the style is a bit similar to that of EGS. This is mainly because I used the EGS sketch fillers to see how other people draw, erm, other people
The characters are my own.

I'm thinking more about the proportions, they don't look that confident.
But yes, I can relate to the difficulties. I have a lot of trouble with drawing proper proportions as well and inking always looks shoddy when I do it. I know what I'm doing wrong with the proportions (not drawing the primitives first) but no idea what to do about the inking. *cough* *ack* *wheeze*
That's why I prefer modeling, much easier to do. And with normalmaps I can hide my shoddy texturing pretty well.

I know the basics of proportion. The problem is angles, and getting the primitive shapes right.
To that end, I know have a posable mannequin. I have made two drawings with it, but the head looks a bit... off... in both of them (that's not a pun or anything - they just look a bit odd. Like they don't quite fit). I also can't be bothered to ink them on the computer (though I have one scanned in)

I disagree, You gain alot in the coluring process, in fact I think colouring goes a long way toward covering mediocre drawing skills (i.e in my case )Guessmyname wrote:You lose a lot in the colouring process

@FireCrack: The physical version was purged two years ago. It no longer exists in the real world. I thought it was weirdly unique, but meh. I built it and painted it up in less than 24 hours, if that makes you happier, because at the time I was promoting one of my earlier projects. I had to throw them all away two years ago, though, because I moved into a much smaller space, and could no longer store them.
@Warlord: Because I am never working on a project that could be taken down with a single C&D
