Newbs to Spring need to play more than just TA-based mods. I play them mainly because I never played OTA, and EE and gundam are just more interesting.

And I don't play speedmetal, not becuase the gamplay is lacking, but because just looks bad. I play nice-looking maps.

at the very least we could fail epically!

I think a better approach would be to build the modder community, using smoths forum as a base, and arrange an evening every week where we all try and play as many games as possible of one of the members mods, as well as inviting others to join in and try it (Much more tempting to give a mod a play if others are already playing it, no?).

I start with 10x10 wind then 6x6 mex.
