spring.exe --safemode with springlobby?

Post by 8611 »

Is there a way with springlobby to enable safemode?
Or set all settings to safemode values?

I know one can start spring.exe, go to http://springrts.com/wiki/Springsettings.cfg and set all settings to safemode values.
But that is almost impossible to explain in chat, especially if there is bit language barrier.
I could also copy my settings from springsettings.cfg and tell other player to paste into his .cfg, but again that is again hard to explain; where to find the file and so on.
So a easy to use checkbox would be nice, or does it already exist somewhere?

a checkbox doesn't exist yet, but you can enable it by editing springlobby.conf:

Code: Select all

[Spring]
Safemode=1
to locate springlobby.conf see help->system info
