Looks good, the AO seems a bit oversized on the smaller buildings though, mainly the llt and defender

No, srsly, i can see it on Rattles Picture and on the Snowmap, but on ethe green its nearlyinvisibling

Its basically a transparent baked shadow below the buildings, to create a better fitting into the surround enviroment

Yeah, I've been doing this for groundplates manually in IW, faking the occlusion really makes the building feel more part of the environment...

I'd imagine its also less resource intensive than realtime shading, though both methods combined = sexy.

I really like the bottom left one that actually has the anatomy of a spider. I would expand on that some if you could. Maybe a gun or missile pods on the abdomen?
