TA and Spring Meets Supreme Commander!

Actual in game model :!:

We've been busy at TAAN working on a new Evolva version of the Monkeylord! As you can see, this one is as close as it gets to SC. Currently working on the OTA version with a Spring version to follow. The good news is that this unit will work better in Spring than in OTA beacuse of superior scripting and FBI options.

And yes, there will be a fully functional gantry for this beast as well ;)

More info can be found here...

Looks awesome!

But why make it for OTA? There's a poly limit, right? Spring has a superior 3d engine, so if u want this new stuff, why not make it for Spring immediately?

I have to say, that's one of the best units i've seen this far :)

Plus in Spring the model can be UV Mapped, allowing for an evewn better texture.

Doesnt mean that they will UV Map it for Spring. They could just rescript it, using the "superior scripting and FBI options."

Since Spring has most of what TA has and plus some, it makes sense to make it for TA and modifying it for Spring. It's easier to add features than to remove.
