Thats why the plant in Little Shop of Horrors left for outer space.. sandworms where eating them in there home territorys..

I have decided to finally model something for serious:

This is new Starlight model for Zero-K. For those who don't know Starlight is the planetary chisel that cuts the surface with a huge orbital lasor.
The floating part is the satellite redirecting the lazor being shot from the center of the mainpiece.

the spikes look out of place.

maybe the base platform could be put on top of another platform. As it is it seems the small robots would be able to walk into the laser when it's open....and....touch it?

just to see what happens...

Worked on strafing planes a bit to make them land where you order them rather than after a(n incorrect) braking distance.

Operation toolset for the 3rd tier factory- implanting implants into creatures

Storytime:

In every war, when it drags on long enough, one start to copy ones opponents best moves. In this case, the Centrail started to copy the cheap bio tech units- called synth. Basically they are journeyman eggs, grown, then there brains are opened, there bodys altered, a way to have huge units, cheap, effective, fast and when there is brain left, with even a sense of self preservation

Well, the thing that gets it implanted, does not. Well before.
After, it is happy, and never knew that it would be so much fun to kill its own kind.

You should here the screams it will emit during the procedure...
Also i plan to add various extremitys stretching the ovula-bag at times.

It takes a journeymann egg,
ripped from a synth-mother,
grows it up fast,
then takes the skalpell to it,
splits it open, heart, lung and brains.
It takes stuff out, replaces key sectors with cybernetic hardware.
Resulting in a synth.
A cheap, fast grown tank like unit, able to turn a lot of the advantages of sleak biological systems, as imployed by the journeymen against those.

Red Sun Dyson Fractal..

One of the places in the journeywar universe is this.. a fractal dyson sphere around a red dwarf.

After a whaile nothing gets to you, then you survive for a whyle longer, and then it catches up.
It was in one of the red sun dyson-fractals, where our old-love, insanity meet us again.
The degraded residents never cared for anything but there plastic surgery poetry.
The enemy, was invested into internal politics, i guess about whether to use non-biotech to preserve such a wonder.
Some brainiac admin thought it a good idea, to cut scrapers loose and use them as Coriolis avalanches.
It tore a hole ribbon of continent plate loose and the ladder ran and rolled.
There was nowhere to run, and we sat at the window, death rolling in, above and below, in awe.
It was a accident, the building, had a partial vacuum breach, and jetisoned us - moments before we got buried,
out into open space. Desert while you still got legs and worlds to go.
One could go wild here.. with reflecting metall, winding roads and zikkurats
