Not sure what you expect to see on the WIP model. Plan on making it black like with the ship.
I also had the idea, maybe the transports carrying multiple units need some kind of hightech-transdimentional-glowing-super-Lua-sphere-of-infinity-storage. basically a portal, making it look less strange when a squad of units bigger than the transporter itself, boards it. Don't know yet...Transporters are strange units in multiple ways :-)

The image above is a very simple ‘full bright’ render showing the model with only the diffuse map applied and no lighting of any kind.

you don't know what fullbright means in the context of modeling? I don't even..

Well there are other names for it? Selfilumination to the Max, all other Maps deactivated?

Shadeless version as requested, thus. I think i managed to break the UV's at some points, as there's obvious overlap. Good that i can just regenerate both layout and textures on a whim :)

just some random rocket vehicle. It is not for any specific project, so it was more or less just a design trial.
Additional, I think I borrowed heavily from some other design I saw somewhere.

Even-though it might just be some random vehicle, it looks pretty cool.
And yes, the design is clearly a rip off. I suspect you don't need to worry about it :-)

(piece parenting and offsets are zeroed because i've been doing things to geometry and uv's again)

@ FireStorm_ : Ah, that could actually be the case :). Although I´m quite sure that I have seen a rts-unit with pretty much the same design ( rockets, tracks etc). For example, I wouldn´t be surprised, if it was something guesmyname made back when he was still active.

btw, really like your hovertransporter.

@Anarchid: thx, but could I have that as an .3ds or .obj file if its possible with Blender? Don´t have Blender atm and wouldn´t like to install it just to export that model to wings :)
