Re: Random WIP 2013+
Think I'm done with the Evo amphibians. Only four of six I did made the cut . Maybe I'll redesign the other two later, but for now I need a lego break
@ Zealot
Thanks. That means my key-shot worked and no-one can see all the super ugly seams (sketchfab).

Started today with breakfast and a quick model. Needed to get this out of my system (Very early wip; proportions still way off.)

Re: Random WIP 2013+
I returned it
The idea is, if I make enough of 'em, I can let them do my BAR work (But I'll probably texture a hovercraft myself today, just in case...)

Cute hovers!
Can we have shading on the buoy, or will the engine take care of that?

Re: Random WIP 2013+
Thanks I'm tweaking the look but they are Behe's designs essentially, btw.
The hover-tank with the textured buoy/skirt uses an extra smaller 'test-texture' for that atm. I still have to update the Atlas-texture to contain this smaller texture-piece. No skirts until I fixed that, so I won't have to do stuff twice.

Re: Random WIP 2013+
But the answer is yes, the engine will make the shading look loads better anyway. Wings3D doesnt have the specular/glow/normals/bloom that the engine does.

I made a picture of a wombat ... it's for looking at and such.
Re: Random WIP 2013+
I really love the modifications you made, and the texture is excellent as well!
Re: Random WIP 2013+
best animal to fuse with robotics? Obviously, its insects. Even better: flying insects... which build your bases... and suck the metal out of your enemies.

Re: Random WIP 2013+
thx guys :)
@picassoct: If you get the itch to really do so, just say the word and this fine mess of a model is yours to tinker with.
@smoth: do you mean the sky-snake dragons? that would be painful to animate wouldn´t it? Also, additional tail elements: as it is now, i think it´s to short for that kind of movement to look good.
@Firestorm_ : yeah... that specific piece of scifi-tech did actually serve as the inspiration for my ideas for the vtol-models (together with the matrix sentinels http://cavebabble.pnrnetworks.popcornnr ... atrix1.jpg). District9 is great on so many levels.
