Hello guys (and gurls).

Is anybody out there that can help us out with a working/downloadable version of UpSpring? The link on the homepage seems broken.

We are a new team trying to create another game for upspring and we need to convert the models of wings3d to s3o.

Thanks.

I have a mirror here: http://www.warriorhut.org/spring/tools/ ... Angles.exe

There is also the ability in the current release to load OBJ files directly, however you might be interested in trying the current development release of Spring which includes support for loading practically any useful model format (ie, 3DS, Collada).

The functionality is definitely in need of testing but you may find it easier in the long run than fighting with UpSpring (which has quite a few bugs/quirks of its own).

Details on the new model loader and metadata files can be found in this thread: http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=18232

You will need to get your hands on a development release however. I think it is found here: http://springrts.com/dl/buildbot/defaul ... esting.exe

Check this wiki page for more info about using the development version: http://springrts.com/wiki/Download_Testing

Thanks so far.

We allready downloaded the development release and designed several units. No it comes up to lua scripting and animation, so we need to convert our models.

Thanks so far, we will test you linked app.

If you don't use Upspring you're stuck with Blender, fwiw.

Should Upspring be on http://springfiles.com/spring/tools ?
imo yes because all the other "private" downloads have a tendancy to die after some time...
or is there a reason it is not uploaded there?
