Caldera, the textures are flipped, hit uv mapping in upspring, and flip the uvs. They are flipped because spring flips TGA and TIFF textures, DDS ones are correct.

Here is the ak with script. I'm not happy with how it shoots. There were no firepoints in the moddel, so i had to use the guns as firepoint. But it looks like it shoots from a bit besides and over the guns. Does someone know how to fix this?

afaik firepoints are just empty objects settable in upspring and their origin is the firepoint.
Thanks very much for the effort caldera!

Would the necro be a better fit to be a freaker? Its good, but not very stealthy-looking

It was intended as necro, but should work as freaker. They are all free to use in any way modders see fit.

Well done Beherith, your Kbots really turned out great.

Now you just gotta make a sexy lab together for them to call home :-)

I'm scripting the crasher atm, but i have no idea how the walking animation should look like. Can you somehow discribe it? :?

Can't help you with that sorry, but please people, script these ffs! We demand these awesome models in to play! Beherith did great effort and created these just for you. Now help him a bit!

Is it the reverse leg one?

or

There are a bunch of them on there maybe one of them can yield inspiration.

Thanks, thats some good reference for the other models. The crasher has some other kind of "legs" though, probably cause its amphib.

iirc, it simply picks up, moves forward, then down, back and repeat. At least the OTA one did. Realistically though that makes no sense, it's far too wide for that to really look convincing.

BA T1 and T2 AA kbots both use the same style, I'd recommend looking at those for reference.

Wow, I thought I had the crashers anim all thought out in my head. But now that i tried to actually animate it, I realized i defied the most basic laws of physics and euclidean space when animating it in my head. Thus, anything you come up with will be awesome, But I really dont want to change the model since its my favorite out of all 6. :D
If it really cant be done while looking good, then Ill consider changing it around.
