6-8 sides per cylinder. The round sphereoids have too many polies.

Sniper style laser sighting? That sounds pretty cool actually.

:cry:

Models are cheap. I could make a half-dozen models in the time it takes to make one good texture although my ubernoobyness at texturing may have something to do with this ratio :p, and I'm an ubernoob at modeling :P

If you're not going to texture them, nobody'll be able to use them, and they'll just sit here for eternity.

Seriously, you really do want to learn to texture. It's worth the time :wink:

on to your model(s):
you may want to add a moving mechanism to the "aiming lasers," use less spheres and "barely modified spheroids," and generally cut down on polies. Other than that, nice job! :mrgreen:

I know how to texture, but texturing is just not for me.

I would add them when i was making this, but i just didn't know what it would be. I just wanted some decals.

A model isn't done until it's ingame! Maybe not even then! :P

Is it that hard to go back in, add a cylinder, and separate/rejoin some verts?

Nope. But nobody is going to make use of it (except EGM) but there wouldn't be lasers[maybe]) so i'm not going to do it ;p

It fucks with UV maps pretty good when you do that. The form of a model is pretty much done once the UV map is finished, unless you absolutely can't avoid fixing something.

fixing the uvmap isn't that big a deal.
