hey zoombie... apealing to your robots keen... (and movies it seems).

you know about some chinese, or japanese movies about robots?

old stuff moslty, can you point me in some direction?

i have some memories of some movie i saw once... but cant recall correctly.

it was about a big robot, that was defeated by small odd looking robots that came out of a suitcase some chinese had.
(or japanese, sorry i know they are way different, but cant recall which of them was).
those small robots, somehow morphed and deactivated/exploded the biguer one...

sorry about the HUGE off topic, im curious.

ps: hrmph, try to avoid TA association.
ps2: frigguing cats in a dark room O_O uuuuhhh.....

Well... imthinking giant robots as in... Mechwarrior and Battletech

like this:

and not this:

For, sprisingly enough, there is a HUGE difference between the two robot types.

Mechwarrior type robots usualy are more specialized in their construction, while the Anime/whatever the chineese vesrsion is are more generalized, useing articulate hands rather then built in weapons. Also Battletech (witch is the same univers as Mechwarrior) has the most totaly awsom mech ever!

The Mad Cat
Image

Weighing over 70 tonnes and standing 5 story's tall, the Mad Cat has twin partical pulse cannons (think rail guns) for arms and has two missle racks for shoulders. Capable of traveling 50-60 mph, the Mad Cat is one of the greate's mech deshinges, anc kicks acording ass! I like useing it in Mechcommander (a RTS adaptation of Mechwarrior) to hit enemy's at long range useing the PPC's and Missles. But i ususaly pack a few with Inferno class napalm missles to fry enemy's at closer range. Inferno's really kill mech's fast (because have you seen what happen's when a fusion reactor overheats and explodes?), and look really really cool!

Now on topic: I really liked Hrmph's (btw, is your name like hrumph as in a coughing, clearing throat sound?) and Neuralize's Catz, but my favouret is obviously Alanti Firestar's. It has cool tanks, with a good angle... just lose the health bar's and selection boxe's!

Now im going to STAY OFF TOPIC!

EDIT: I mean ON TOPIC! ON TOPIC!

I like aGorm's flashness...something more hostile looking would be cool...

I also like Tim's first and Neuralize's red spring logo.

How about spring logo, in the foreground and in the background a grassy landscape with units walking past, but all you see is there feet. Flash animation obviously. And not a bronze-ish colour at all, green, blue, white clouds, black unit sillhouette

They just need to make more executive decisions and just do what they want.

Here's my two cents:

Image

Flower in bloom -> spring, jumping person -> spring ("spring" Dutch for "to jump"). Tell me what you think.
