The skeleton of a hyena with a porta-brolly on his back with a sharpener for a head and an ice cream cone for an ass...

Nice.

@daan that last one is a joke, right? Wayy too complicated gun thingy :).

Pressure Line's lower picture looks really cool but, that design would not really match how the fido currently behaves in most mods.

I use it.
Daan, it looks like a dog with a gun mounted on top of it.

All things considered... Isn't that the point?

Actually the Fido is a pretty nice early LVL-2 unit that doesn't cost too much and has good range and damage + its got 2 firemodes for either range sniping or bombardment.

It depends on the mod a little bit, but sadly most people will just go straight for armor with the overpowered Zeus and underestimate how good the Fido really is.

The model is looking ok, but he's looking a little skinny, you need to feed your doggy

The cannon also looks a bit overcomplicated and fragile.

Anorexia FTL.

Make it more like the Battletech designs, the Fenrir powered armor design is particularly fitting.

hi all i think i lost the fido on my way. I hope i now made it a little more fido again. I think i kinda made him eat also. I just experimenting with some weapons.

I think if ther would be a low and high trajectory for this unit it could maybe better of use in the game. Anyway this is another concept. i kinda like this one.

Me Wishes we had a "Annoy" Option for Units like the Fido- keep in Bulletouch withthe Enemy, but avoid it´s firing range... if such a Button existed, this Baby would walk the Dog out of the Zeus...

PS: Dan it aint Amee, but the Gun looks Nice- can we have a picture from above?

I have an old drawing that might give you some ideas. The sketch had nothing to do with TA, but it does look vaguely similar to the CA Arm style units.

That's the best one yet. I'd also love to see a huge version of that as a new T2 or even T3 unit. Looks a bit heavy for the fido but it is very cool. I think it looks quite good from above too, personally.

The smoothed version doesn't look quite right though. Dunno if that's because of the normals/edge hardness thing people keep going on about. The non-smoothed, angular mechanical look is much much better.

Yeah, and we have no Computersystem that can do 4 Fidofood walking today in open Landscape, so scrap the Modells alltogether, as they can´t be Realistic ;)

Can somebody do a Mecha Holy Cow, so that we get Rants over hurting Religious feelings, killing those Things Ingame?

tx for all the commands guys.

I think i gonna stick to this model and pimp it a bit. I had much fun with it. Well i still have. Notice the legs i changed. They are a bit bigger on top and they are a bit longer. i think it is a good thing.

Ofcourse if i gonna add a head it needs to be a robotic head somehow. I just had some creativity spoiling the model. And thats where the tail also came from. But a cool head could do a bit good i think.

Don´t ovrdo it Animalwise- it´s after all a GausGun armed Robot- what doese he need Claws, Teeth / Tail for ?

Okay, besides the Style and the Coolness of Heavy Arms..

And i know, that he might face Squirrels in Close Combat..

But any Reasons- okay, he might dig in with those claws..

But besides all the Facts, what has the Fido ever done for us ?
