i spose some1 (mabye fulcrum ? :-P ) will pick up the slack with arm .. eventually..

Sorry this is taking so long guys, just had alot of RL stuff going on recently.

The model itself hasn't been very easy to make look good with texture either though, maybe just too many odd shapes and parts to make a good contrasting set that works for it.

I'm still working out the bottom base section, trying to make that look good, I know its really fugly right now.

Besides that, the texture is just about done.

I think it looks great, could be a great base of the mobile big laser thing, can't remember it's name lmao

Indeed, although there would need be some difference from the Arm/Core dichotomy, I would think you could save a lot of work by doing the Penetrator next.

I agree regarding the base, otherwise it's very nice. The head area looks much better without the 'eye'. Much more sinister.

I hope it has some sexy CEG effects to take advantage of the detailed barrel (muzzeflash flares etc)

Please do Johnny 5 as the Penetrator model, Mr. D! I always play CORE, but I really don't mind getting blasted by one of my favourite movie characters.

If I may make a small suggestion? The brown areas on the sides of the track mechanism texture might look better with a dark gray.

OK all the layers are done, and its ready for Rattle to work his magic on the scripts :-)

Here is the package file so you guys can open it up in UPSPRING and get a closer look at it with teamcolor and reflection/glow working.

Wait for Rattle to get the scripts done before trying to put it ingame though.

A quick peak at that truck would tell you that it in fact a jack-hammer blade. There is not capacity in that rig for screwing, only forceful pistoning.
