[SPADS] Replays won't upload [Fixed]
Since spring 94.1, autohosts fail to upload to the replay site. Any ideas why?

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
On all the one I played, it did not: you should name the one with the pb

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
That was a long time ago. For some reason the past few weeks, out of nowhere it started failing all over the place.

In Spring 94.1, replay uploading is totally broken, yes?

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
Really? Because ever since spring 94.1 my hosts have not been able to upload replays and there is always this in the logs:

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
This is the spads autohost thread, not the springlobby thread.
Your sentence doesn't even make sense.

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
Return code "1" is either wrong credentials: https://github.com/dansan/spring-replay ... _upload.py (line 54) or missing CURL library but wanting bandwidth throttling (line 84).Forboding Angel wrote:Code: Select all

When you have problems with the replays site, you can PM me directly. I'll switch on debug mode (for extended logging), and we'll find out the cause of the problem.
Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
There is a bug in 94.1, making 64-bit-spring think replays created by 32-bit-spring are broken - but they are fine. Is already fixed for 95 (http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.ph ... 52#p538878).AntiAllez wrote:with springlobby yes, on demo folder not- this works for meForboding Angel wrote:In Spring 94.1, replay uploading is totally broken, yes?

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
Isn't the windows build of spring 94.1 32bit?
Edit: Oh derp. I need to read moar betterer. Ok so this is a known issue, correct?
Is there anything I can do on my end to fix it?

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
Sorry - made a double post. The 32/64bit thingy explains AntiAllez why he cannot watch replays successfully uploaded.Forboding Angel wrote:Isn't the windows build of spring 94.1 32bit?

Regarding your problem was the post above that. My guess is, that your user credentials changed. Please try to log into the replays website with the name/pw used in spads.conf: endGameCommandEnv (XMLRPC_USER, XMLRPC_PASSWORD).

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
No, they did not change, and I have tested this a long time ago.\
All of my hosts use the same password and all can log into the replays site just fine. The password they use is obviously the same as the password used to log into the spring server, so therefore, if they could log into the spring server but not the replays site that would be a little bit strange, no?
I assume that these strings have not changed.

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
I just played a match on EvoRTSDedicated3 and had debug enabled on the replays site. The autohost did not make any network contact with the webserver.
Please check that "replays.springrts.com" resolves to "78.46.100.156" on your host (use "host replays.springrts.com" on the server, debian package is "bind9-host")... or to go further, please try "wget http://replays.springrts.com/". It should download the replays homepage.

Re: SPADS AutoHost beta release
Yes, it resolves correctly.
Wrt server... This is a win7 64bit machine.
Also, I want to make spads use a develop version of spring. I thought I could o this by just simply changing the folder that it looks to for spring, which seems to have worked, but weblobby seems to think that it is still 94.1, so which is right?

Re: [SPADS] Replays won't upload
I'll be on vacation from tomorrow, but I'll take a notebook with me, and I'll hopefully have wireless access... I don't know your timezone. I live in CEST. I suggest to meet in lobby tonight 23:00 CEST or if not possible Saturday at 23:00 CEST. Leave me a PM.dansan wrote:When you have problems with the replays site, you can PM me directly. Re: [SPADS] Replays won't upload [Fixed]
Fixed. I had python 3.3.1 installed. Upload script needs python 2.7xx.
