A alien beauty appears.
Question, could you adapt the skybox to the terrain, so that it is complimentary?

Not sure what you mean by that, It seems complimentary enough now.

The skybox looks like a photo of earth sky, and the terrain looks like computer generated alien ground, so they don't fit completely.

In other words- fast food sucks.
If you spend weeks and hours tweaking a map to perfection and the skybox is just a slapped on last minute addition- it is how likely to be wrong.

1. Take a screenshot of your map.
2. Take a sample value.
3. Go To Paletton. (http://paletton.com)
4. Make a Colour Rectangle- shift the degrees, until you get what you need.
5. Recolour the skybox.

Notice how each complimentaryset fits to the landscape.
6. Profit. Yes, its subtile. But fits like a glove. Sorry, i know- skyboxes are always something like a last minute - close enough addition. None the less. Good map deserves a good skybox.

I see what you mean about skybox color, I aimed for something between the pink and blue example you gave,

There is a special place in hell for assholes who bitch about the skybox and then have a game,
that recolours the sun in a day and light cycle

Posting, because reflection rate of the map is good- if you alter the light on some, they look like painted over with Lacquer.
