YES!

So much better than my attempts at hacking the map together with your texture.

Awesome stuff! Somebody tell Bibim to change default comet to this one when they see him.

Hmm, it looks kinda... too shiny, as if the cliffs were of some super reflective material.

Johannes, some moons, like ours, reflect a shitton of light and from the surface in various lighting conditions would appear very shiny on it's surface.

Except for it's a Comet, but I think the shinyness part still applies :P

Comets couldn't catch comets as they are far too small. Only a large body with a fair amount of gravity and size could be called a comet catcher.

A comet catcher is a moon. Much like our moon protects us from various meteors and comets.

Yeah... not really, unless by "our moon" you mean Jupiter, which is the actual "comet" catcher in this system.

Quite true, but one simply has to look at our moon with the naked eye to know that it is Earth's personal comet catcher.

Back to the map, it is obvious that it's supposed to be a moon.

Earth is a greater attractor and greater target than the moon is. The cratered surface on the moon compared to the earth is the result the difference in atmosphere, with the moon having practically none.

Incidentally, no atmosphere is also the reason the moon would be ridiculously bright.

No one said that moons attract comets... But they do act as shields. Once again I point to the craters on our own moon.

What waldo meant to express is that because the moon lacks an atmosphere like we have here on earth, forces like wind and water erosion do not act on it and thus it has more clearly formed craters.
