On a technical note, there is a metal spot in the upper left that you cant build a mex on. There might be others too. Its can be pretty hard, sometimes, to find the right spot to put the mex on others too.
Had an interesting 3v3 on this map. It is sort of a sea comet. Wide open, lots of metal. I won the game by sucking 2 com wrecks (we both rushed mid) and spamming cruisers, though we could have beaten them with hovers and ships.
However, since all the metal is on land and there are a lot of metal spots, you prettymuch have to go hover at one point or another, as your com cant possibly expand at a fast enough rate to keep you competitive. Hovercraft also lend themselves tactically to this map, being cheaper and thus more able to raid and create coverage. Add this to the fact a corvette can take out an llt, and thus early defences are usually depthcharge launchers (useless vs hovers).

I think the trees have too much HP, so i might do a re-release anyway.
