artillery can hit fast moving targets, if they dont change their course. Its called targeting! and thats the way it was which was good. If ppl decide to use their units differently let them. Its kinda starting to be a comm bomb discussion over here.

Obviously you've never seen what a Catapult does to a group of fast-moving units caught in the rocket barrage. In fact, it's probably better at it than the Vanguard.

also ur basing the whole Aty can't hit fast movers on real life correct? if u are ur really putting urself in a bad spot since this game invloves, green nano lathe spray, Plasma weapons, and lasers, non of which are used in any current military what so ever

It never was. There was one player who thought it was too good because one could take out a single PeeWee and a group of four could take out a group of PeeWees. There were a lot of players who thought it was completely fine.
Personally, I think the problem most players have is with all-terrain units in general. Most bases get chewed by all-terrain units, and the Vanguard is no exception. It's just a reality of AA that you have to guard your flanks against all-terrain rushes. Since the only all-terrain unit with anti-air is the Core L3 one, generally the best way to cover your flanks is just to keep a gunship or bomber team at the ready. Vanguards in particular move slow enough that a bomber squad can pulverize them.

Anti-Air hovers have now been given depth charges which will only
target subs, also a short range sonar
I problably missed this but...why? Totally demeens the purpose of Anti Air only.

Also, why do samsons attack the ground when no other anti air kbots do? I think its pretty silly.

Min3: Wtf? Learn to MSPaint write. I could barely read half of that.

Min, no one in the WORLD could take that srsly. It's phsycally impossibole. I would have an esayer time flying a Space shuttle with my nose then to take that picture there srsly.

Now not that we feel offended (or in any case we shouldn't).
I kinda understand your frustiations, and your pay of expressing it doesn't get you anywere.

Use decent arguments instead of just breaking the opposing down.
And it is Caydr's mod, no way of bending it.

Somehow AA starts to stop working with my current way of playing it. I've no idea if it is somethings that has to do with Anni's or the plasma batteries being rebalanced. It's not my style anymore. But who am I force Caydr to alter his mod just for me?
(Also the new spring makes targeting a lot hard. Units won't fire on ghosted buildings, and the FPs is so limited, you cannot force it decently)

And min, you are the 2nd worse artist I ever saw using MS paint*.
*If you actually used an other program, you are really sad using BMP's

Caydr, regardless of how good or bad AA is or ever will be, you earn respect just for continuing to work on your mod despite the ridiculous drama people start about it. Too many volunteer developers on the internet just throw up their hands and walk away from a project in the face of pointless criticism.

they were NEVER a uber bulldog, and it moves so slow you can counter it very easily. Just because your peewees were killed by it doesnt make it unbalanced- WHY would you attack a lvl 3 unit with lvl 1 spam which has such a short range its unbelievable - surely its more unbalanced for a lvl 3 unit to be taken out by lvl 1? vanguards can hit fast moving stuff, BUT they have a lot of weaknesses anyway so whats the problem? Just because you had 1 game and couldnt think of a counter to something doesn't have to mean a unit is unbalanced. Oh no my units which cost 50 metal are being owned by units which cost 2k metal, they must be unbalanced!

you DO know there's depth charge hovers right?

Tacking depth charges (and sonar!) onto anti air hovers just seems... retarded.


Or you could rename them to like "defense platform" hovers.

Noize, I agree with your points but can you change your tone a little? I understand your frustrated but being angry and insulting Caydr won't help =).

Regarding the vanguard, Its an extremely expensive unit. It fires once every 4 seconds. So it hits the peewee and kills some. By the time it fires again, the next wave of peewee arrives. I don't think its an OP unit, I rarely build them...Nerfing it just makes sure i'll never use it =).
3600 metal is an awful lot. Ah well.

So, depth charges have been implemented for hovers... that is a step forward. I think the unit should be separated, but I'll withhold my official opinion until I can get into a game and use them!

Why did you make orcones/krogs able to walk over fortifications? That added a balance to them.
