the announcement post on the spring facebook page is bad... did you do it yourself or was it scraped automagically somehow?
edit: in fact I'm noticing a bunch of posts that mirror your ModDB page but lack identification as being related to Gundam RTS and requiring 2 clicks (first you have to follow the link to the note and then you have to follow the link to the original post)

Well what I do know:
Gundam was dled 321 times
So that is around 10% of it mainpage hits from yesterday.
All in all the release went well with only a few confused users. The response was very positive so I was pleasently suprised! I honestly did not expect so much attention.
I was unable to upload just the archive because springfiles kept erroring out on me. So if someone else can try and put 1.26 up on springfiles go for it just assign the file to me so I can update it later.
On balance changes, honestly, the new armor class and weapon class stuff is very different so I felt a change log would be kinda moot. Many things were fixed that got broken along the way like radar. Other more subtle things like squads keeping their factory que were fixed and stuff like the kampfer and zgok weapon toggles are now custom commands. The magella top spawn is interesting because the top that spawns can fly, even If they often don't survive, when they do it can prove to be a nusence. Some items were shuffled around in the research trees and I removed the anahiem facility putting all federation ms in the hangar.
