By all means post balance complaints(please be specific not just lol shit sucks) I had limited time to test due to the fact I was adding so much to the game and stabilizing that. At the time noone CBA to help me test so imbalances were bound to happen. Somethings may just be about learning counters but it is still likely that I did miss somethings

Expansion makes little sense in universe canon but I understand the want for it and am pondering things but still am not convinced it is required. ESP after I make my planned economy changes. You are aware conyards do free healing and have a forward one will make raiding easier?

do u rly think its worth it ? i personally dont think so.

also hovers are totally op, fast, most units miss them, very accurate, cheap, both ground and aa, probably most op unit i managed to produce so far

On a large map definitely, on a small one like rocky glacier not at all.

Define hovers. I need specifics.

Just played against Snoop. Got a few questions. Getting a ton of these kinds of questions myself, I'll preface by saying I'm just asking if this is intended and not be like "Omg why is it like this!?"

- Gouf's say they can only attack ground (good move) but they kept on trying to target aircraft, specifically Fanfans. Bug?

- Dopps had a hard time taking down fanfans. The fanfans themselves were masterful pilots, able to dodge just about everything I threw at them. If this isn't a desired effect, I can suggest increasing the velocity of the dopps attack, that's what we had to do to get CT's fighters to hit other aircraft.

Overall it was fun and a real joy as a Gundam fan. I do love Zakus. Definitely needs some balance work, but I intend to give some feedback after I play.

Replays of all the games I've played so far.

Porc is still a bit too easy(e.g. the last gunmetal harbor game), perhaps if destroying power plants could temporarily disable nearby buildings that needed power (like, 2 or 3 seconds, tops if you destroy a couple of plants).

It is called teamplatter, unless possible maybe a conflict/collision is happening maybe with another widget I cannot see why it is not in your list. Can you pm me your full infolog?

I'm using UnitShapes instead of TeamPlatters in Gundam. It seems to run smoother amongst other little benefits.

What is unit shapes? Can you post some shot for me?

I can take a look at including it as an off default widget.

UnitShapes vs TeamPlatters

Image

Only thing I dislike about UnitShapes is the highlight colour is too bright, but that can be easily adjusted.

----------------------------------------------------------

Gundam thoughts

Very impressive first impression. Took me no time at all to set my GUI up to suit me, which instantly give it an edge over games which took me ages to sort out. Units are very detailed, and very sexy. I've only seen about 1/4 of all the units so far but from what I've seen, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the rest. A big percentage of the offensive units are "cool", compared to BA where there's only a couple of really cool looking units.

The resource system is still a bit bewildering in the top right, but I guess knowledge of that just comes with time. Maps are very pretty, although, dare I say it, are possibly a little on the large size compared to the size of some of the units I've seen so far, although, I guess it doesn't really matter than much when expansion doesn't play a role.

It's pretty fast paced, which instantly gets itself a cookie from me as I really dislike slow games such as NOTA and XTA where you can go for a coffee whilst the game is running without any problems.

The menu screen made me jizz when I first hit Esc.

The cursor seems a little on the large side and looks a little distorted. I think that must be a bug cause when I hit F5, it shrunk and seemed a lot cleaner, as if the resolution of it somehow got fucked up.

Really like the loadscreens.

The separate styles of each faction are well kept and all the units seem to fit their faction.

I'm wondering how a team game of Gundam would go down?

Anyway, I've only played about 10 minutes of it so this feedback isn't set in stone, also, Ima start taking some nice screenies.

I think that his new Gundam release looks awesome! I especially like the sparkling fire feature placer used for the ship engines. Smoth is a great modder and I think that his ability to make such a wonderful looking game is very cool. It's awesome that I have a boyfriend who likes giant robots, Gundam, and spaceships just like me. I used to be into that kind of thing as a kid too and have always liked watching him work on his game.
