If it really bothers you I can set a timer before it turns on right away.

I know XTA is sort of the default mod but it'd be good if different versions had a different file name. On days like today when everybody hasn't switched over hosts might have two or three different versions of the mod running. You have to swap different versions of XTAPE around to get into various games.

true true.
also stupid when you want to watch replays.
and please use version numbers again, the "last public beta" "newest beta" "even newer new version" was annoying ;)

Yeah, 9.1, 9.2, 9.23, 9.23b if it's a beta etc. Highly annoying when watching replays indeed.

I joined an XTA v9 game this mornign and was out of sync and had to download a newer XTA v9 with exactly the same version number, exactly the same mod name, and exactly the same filename.

I'm starting to wonder if this is a deliberate attempt to p*ss off the userbase and confuse everyone.

I noticed howto tell them apart.

One is XTA V9
One is XTA v9

why not call one XTA9 and the other XTA 9.1 ? Pick a naming scheme and stick with it, dont be afraid to add an extra number on the end.
