springfiles.com migrated to new server!

Post by abma »

springfiles.com was migrated to a new server!

as i'm on vacation i can't handle issues related to it atm: i've hopefully fixed the biggest issues for now. When i'm back i try to handle the (if there are) remaining issues.

edit: github is down, too: did they migrate it to azure? :scnr:

Thanks.

There's an issue : after clicking on an item (game, map, etc.), the images that'd be shown immediately do not appear, although they show up fine if the user clicks the "designmap" and such links.

Being able to get all the metadata too would be OP

It seems that I cant log in with my old username/password (username Beherith) to springfiles to upload new stuff.

If I ask for a one-time login link cause I forgot my password, the email arrives, but upon clicking the one-time login link I get:
You have tried to use a one-time login link which has either been used or is no longer valid. Please request a new one using the form below.
If I request a new one again, then I get:
Reset password

This is a one-time login for Beherith and will expire on Sun, 07/19/2020 - 11:44.

Click on this button to login to the site and change your password.

This login can be used only once.
I click the login button that appears, and get an ACCESS DENIED error.

My "It's fixed now, thanks!" was premature. I'm still having trouble uploading new content.

This time i was able to upload a new version of my game, but after saving it showed a blank screen:
Image

And the images don't show up.

The image preview thumbnails also do not show up when editing:

The images show up now.

The blank screen still shows up if i try to edit a previously uploaded game (mf v1.42), replace the file with the sdz for v1.44 version and save.

It stores the new file but it won't update the version number.

example : https://springfiles.com/node/10005 (the version should be v1.44 not v1.42)

There are also issues with the search function. I'm almost sure these were there before the migration, though.

I'd expect content that matches one of the provided strings to appear on the results, but that's not the case.

I've uploaded a map that had only been placed on the ZK infra to SF so it'd be downloadable from my game rooms but it doesn't seem to work. Map is this.

thanks for the feedback, i fixed it via https://github.com/springfiles/upq/comm ... 9d0011bfca

wrt the game version i'm not sure, there is an issue, when the game is available as .sdz and via rapid: https://github.com/springfiles/upq/issues/61

possible the version can't be edited after saving. :-|

Ah so thats whats going on. Came back and did a clean install of the game today and nothing was working xD
I have been away for along time, so at first i just thought i was doing something wrong with my installation.
(seems maps/mods doesnt go into the spring dir anymore but instead a tangled mess of .gz files in my documents subfolders.)

At first i thought it was something wrong on my end, thought maybe unsync due to wintertime starting today.

edit:
While the https:// link has expire, just typing in api.springfiles.com does atleast let me open the page.

try again please, it should be fixed. "certbot renew" failed because some subdomains where deleted which where included in the old certificate.
