TASClient bugtracker

Post by abma »

anyone cares if i remove the TASClient bugtracker?

bug reports weren't updated since ~2 years or so. this makes the project looking "dead".

for example http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=2400

or see the TASClient bugtracker...

i heavily suggest to move the repo and the bug tracker to something like github/sourceforge/google code. subproject at https://github.com/spring/ is fine, too (github has a svn bridge as well.)

why? because its atm not possible to see if its maintained or not (=not sure if a backup is made for example). bug reports are ignored and its the only project using the svn repository at springrts.com (which is unmaintained / seems to partly not work).

also we have to few manpower to maintain mostly unused stuff, sorry. (the same for news.php which was removed ~8 months ago.)

I didn't even know we had a TASclient bug tracker... iirc its unmaintained since years and written in some  language that put anyone off working on it.

TASclient does seem to get regular updates, but I don't know if the bug tracker is used for those.
