Its part of the gameplay.. the city is spawned as part of a mini-mission.
Your job is too defend the city (combine- ahem centrail) or to destroy aka overgrow it (journeyman).

Also Congrats to the 1000 post in this thread.. im very tempted to delete your post, just to claim that number for myself-
but it would never be the same

niiiice the city thing, including the text. :-)
the native... at first maybe not but after looking at it for 2 mins ... it seems like the most grotesque thing i ever saw from you. it is a human like thing, with kind of insect like body parts (especially the joints), and some of the forms.. of the neck for example, remind me of a diving suite from the 40ties, and the hair looks like a plant, growing out of, and feeding on his brain, sucking the inside out of his head, and thus making it thin. alien(TM)s look cute compared to this thing!

Well i tried to upload a new Version of JW.. but springfiles doesent manage a transaction from rapidshare. So here it is. Line up people. One at a time, and dont rush it. There is enough bandwith for everyone (who plans to get a thousand years old).

rapidshare seems to not share direct links of files, so remote file doesn't work on springfiles. blame rapidshare for that.

is journeywar on svn? if so it can be added to rapid which should solve all this problems...

Its not working entirely well but its on its way..

Blue quad is the trigger, red circle the actionzone that stores the commands, the green triangles are the reservoirs, that send guarding units into action.

Its all very cheesy..

Great news everyone- there is a new jw version on rapid- and it contains the TacZone-Widget.

Meaning, you are now able to create Commandques for every szenarior- right at the start of the game, you are able to feed them, weave them, and after youve done that- leave them.

Its a fully functional "Do your own bot" Kit and easy to use.
Its able to store commands for standard counterattacks and return the troops, once they reached the goal.

Its able to trigger spy missions once the enemy is busy elsewhere.

Well, well, you had your little rebellious phase, didnt you. Blowing up a city, killing some of your own guys. Its a puberty thing.
Such stuff happens.
But it never happens again. Cause now the Centrail has lined you up, and your family is at risk, and you will climb into one of those little orange capsules for the remainders of your existance, and you will help - stomping down resistance somewhere else in the galaxy.
See those eyes up there aiming at you?
They want to end you-
out of selfpity.
They know what you will do.
They know what you will become, and how you will loath yourself.
They will live eternally, like all full citizens, stepping on ends.
