Anybody willing to impart on me how to limit the angle of a gun? I know its trivial.. i know i have done it before - so all i want is a link to the wiki.


+ Some Info on bouncing would be nice. Wait i asked Knorke for that allready once. Devdementia setting in.

weapon angle stuff

As far as I know bouncing only occurs when a unit (with low mass) is hurled away by an impulse weapon or the impulse of an explosion. Or if you spawn it in mid air (I guess move control can work too...)
I wonder what you're up to. :-)

If the helicopter is supposed to bounce a bit while landing, i'd just make it look like 'real' bouncing with animation.

no.. the bombs it drops.. they are suppossed to bounce up and down.. i went through the board searching for bouncing and weapon- and found some ancients posts by devs talking about stuff like that- and there are values you have to set in the weapon itself. bouncetimes. waterbounce. landbounce. teabaggingtime. then it works.

It misses the fact that projectile flighttime influences also how long the bouncing ball exists. Also its so well hidden, its really hard to find by someone entering through the mainpage.

Well, im doing some ComEnder Speach stuff right now. It supposed to be a cynical female slightly-computer voice. Would be happy for gramar corrections. Just this once. Nothing more embarassing then wrong-gramar, when you didnt intend it.

Tired and the fingers try-red
well its spring cleanup, and all that non-working little things have to go.
So i try to get the restrictor to stun units of the category "Building".
In the gadget i filter them out, once they are hit by the explosion.
I use:

Well that wasnt the case.
So i turned towards drastic measures.. and created a stunn-explosion-weapon- which worked. On everybody.. Not as intended, and this is how it ended:

there is probably nothing better suited for it then this:
