i dont know how to/dont have rights to change it though, waiting for aegis to magically repair it.

I've been told the same is true in the Engines of War forum - is that the default setting for new Subforums then ? I'd like to have ours open for public postings also... (guess I'll PM aegis ?).
Oh, and yes, I get a "new topic" button here, so it does work now.
