Especially the guns look stronger now and the facial expression is improved. The old texture always induced the impression that the guy is always smiling. Now he says: "Yeah - Sooooo much pain!"

The Belial (Cyberdemon) finally has a normal map and received some additional tris/polys. Moreover, minmal adaptions to the animation scripts make him feel heavier now.

I did polish the ghoul model a little. The main focus was on adding space for more team color. However, the ghoul ended as a cyber-zombie. If you take a close look you may notice, that there are some variants for the blades that are attached to the ghoul's arm and back.

Did you ever ask yourself - how would The Cursed would look in Star Craft 2? Well I did... (Doom/Space) Marine vs. the Cyberdemon? Where is the BFG?!

For a long time, I had super weapons as gameplay feature on my mind. Now, I started playing around with them. They will basically be high area-of-effect and high-damage weapons with a low rate of fire. Balancing and tweaking is not finalized yet but I am planning to have superweapons in the gameplay style of C&C or Starcraft. They should do massive damage but not be able to destroy totally everything they hit. All light and medium units and buildings will be burned to ashes quickly. This should especially enable to crack heavy fortifications during mid or late game.
Sooo... I want to show you how nuclear fire and hell fire will look like.
The cursed
hellstorm is a big evil-green fire burning over time and consuming everything. Maybe I will also add some zombies being spawned from the corpses of fallen infantry units...
The imperial
nuke is - make a guess - a big nuke that does lots of damage with one shot (All credits for the nice mushroom explosion and smoke trail go to
ZeroK).

A new unit for survival mode only. It is made from parts included in the
evil-robot-atlas. It is a big bad-ass evil robot.

New defense towers for single player defense/survuval style missions: Autogun tower (1st from left), Heavy cannon tower (4th from left) and cloakable flamer thrower (1st from right).
