are wavs files capped at 22.000 Samples?

Post by PicassoCT »

I try to play a wavfile ingame, and as long as its a 44100 Hz file it simply states it cannot find the file.

The very same file at a lower quality is found.

Please tell me there is a workaround for this...

i have some files that are appearently* 16 bit 44hz and they play normal.
*=noticed by rightclick->file info, did not really watch out for that when editing them.

There are different wav-fileformats, not all are supported.

Didn't have trouble using mono or stereo 16 bit 44 khz waves before... make sure they are in LPCM and not compressed (ACM).

I find with 3D positional sound I can't really tell a difference between 22 or 44 khz.

edit: oh, hello one month old thread
