Achievements/Medals
There was a suggestion to add medals for great achievements in the game. They could be like a medal for most killed commanders or best combomb. I wonder if people have more suggestions...
Basic ideas could be:
* most eco
* most killed units
* most damage dealt by single unit
* most damage dealt upon
* bad decision prize (thinking e.g. of a ffa situation when a player attacks weakest enemy instead of strongest)
* etc...

Top 4 are good. The 5th one would be too complex to calculate.

Also the more medals the less they mean, so maybe just 4-5 is enough.

Yes, but the same applies to medals that are too frequent. It would be nice to have some medals for rare things, such as maybe dgun and live.

a few I am thinking of for gundam
accolades:
I'll be the shield:
player who took the most damage and didn't die.(team game only)
I'll be the sword:
player who did the most damage(team game only)
Master of attrition:
winning player who took the most losses and killed at least 75% of his losses in enemies
King of the Giants:
player who destroys the most buildings.
Sea Serpent (multiple people award):
Player who had primarily amphibious units as his force(at least 75%)
War hawk (multiple people award):
Player who had at least 50% of his force as air units.
Ace combat(multiple people award):
Player who killed at least 3 enemy aces with aces of thier own.
Demerits
Backseat driver:
player who did the least damage and built least troops(obviously not always going to be given)
Wall flower:
player who did less that 10% of the team's total damage(probably will need adjustment)

What about a Räikkönen award: for a player who deos really well in battle but doesnt talk?

For making really interesting awards, it would be nice to be able to save things from one game, and then compare that to future games. Would allow for awards such as greatest improver etc.
But would it be a violation to user privacy? Would it be possible?

Com kills is a good idea. But I also agree with keeping the medal count low, so they mean more. So now I implemented 3 regular awards:Tim-the-maniac wrote: Most important: Com kills

1) Most kills. Because this is what we get notified about during the game anyway, about who is leading with most kills.
2) First to make t2, because it's somewhat similar to best eco, but there is already best eco graph in statistics
3) First to lose commander, only if there are 4 or more players.

I also added some special awards, things that are not expected to happen each game. So far:
a) First to build 200 dragon's teeth (also fortwalls included). Name: 'Fortress city'-award.
b) First to lose two commanders in one game. Name: 'Lost commander twice'-award
c) If being the only player to play whole game without making T2 units. Name: 'T1-swarm' award.
Please suggest more, better names and/or better badges and better layout of the stuff. Obviously stuff should not go outside window, but we'll see about the required sizes later I think.
I'm not really happy with the predator name. Also metamorphosis is not really connected to techer, but I wanted to keep the theme somewhat animalistic, in line with unit names etc.
Also, maybe the titles should be smaller and the name of the player who got the award should be bigger?

Jools, if you need icons I can offer to do some for you. I could use the practice.

I made the above ones by editing/mixing some stuff already out there, and applying "oil canvas" effect in photoshop. But I'm not a pro in doing that, neither am I sure if you are really allowed to do things that way.

This is an example ability one I did for a smoke screen. You can always build it in layers like this(in before non power of 2)
